Hello Readers,
Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer
Today I will be talking about the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer. This elliptical trainer has been around for years and it seems to be very popular with just about everybody. All things considered, it is pretty much just your average elliptical trainer. There aren’t any really cool special features that jumped out at me that make me want to buy this elliptical trainer. So, why is it so popular? Let’s try to figure this out.
Like most of all of the other popular elliptical trainers and treadmills out there I suspect marketing has a large role to play in their success. Like I said, this elliptical trainer doesn’t really seem special. You get an 18 inch stride length which is pretty much average, 16 resistance levels, and a decent amount of programs. The feel of this elliptical trainer is also right in line with the feel of just about every elliptical trainer for the $600 price range. Though I would prefer something by Horizon Fitness if I were to spend $600 on an elliptical trainer.
Even though most of the specs on this elliptical trainer are pretty much average I still have to say “no”to the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer. My main complaint about the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer is the warranty. The Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer comes with a pathetic 90 day parts and labor warranty. This reason alone is enough to make me never want to buy a Schwinn Elliptical.
Overall, this elliptical trainer is average. I really would like to write more about the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer but there really isn’t anything to write about. I suppose I could liken writing about the Schwinn 430 to writing about a brick. There are only so many words to describe a dense, red, rectangular prism. In short, there are two reasons why you shouldn’t buy this elliptical trainer; there are better ellipticals out there for less and the warranty is terrible. I don’t have time to write a full review of the Horizon Fitness EX-57 Elliptical Trainer, but I will. Subscribe to my email feed to be informed the moment I post a review. I personally would rather pay $500 for a Horizon EX57 than $600 for the Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer. The Horizon EX57 has a full 1 year parts and labor warranty!
